I always wanted to be a teacher … I loved being around kids and knew I could make an impact in a kindergarten classroom.

I have worked in inclusive mainstream schools with early years students and toddlers, including children with learning difficulties and with special needs.

Throughout the years, I gained a lot of experience working closely with these children both in 1.1 and in small groups using 1.1 interventions, hands-on learning and a holistic child-led approach, this gave me a lot of experience and knowledge of setting up developmentally appropriate learning resources as well as promoting inclusion and acceptance in the mainstream classroom.

As an Early years foundation teacher and currently in Special education, I have learned that boredom leads to off-task behaviours; this is why at Daffodils Learning Resources, we are offering ready-made task boxes and resources prepared, and ready for activities.

I am passionate about providing little learners with developmentally appropriate learning resources. I believe that every child can thrive in a supported environment.
